World History
Routledge Editors: Victoria Peters

The Routledge World History Collection reflects a growing trend within universities to look at history beyond the civilizations of Europe and North America, instead viewing the world in its entirety and approaching its history by looking at key interactions, themes and processes.

This collection offers all titles within the influential Themes in World History series edited by Peter N. Stearns and other important pedagogic works such as World History by Candice Goucher and Linda Walton. This is supplemented by many other works of research and synthesis and provides a huge range of readings covering topics as diverse as medieval Europe, new imperial history, global terrorism, the rise of China, the Cold War, international Judaism, archaeological approaches and ancient India. This collection features the work of some key historians within world history, such as Merry Wiesner-Hanks, Peter N. Stearns, Patrick Manning, Jeremy Black and Bruce Mazlish.

More than 80 complete titles and select passages from five books offer over 1137 readings, and have been carefully selected to provide a unique, broad and stimulating choice of resources to support the teaching of world history.

The Routledge editor for World History welcomes your ideas for book projects and may be reached at Victoria.Peters@tandf.co.uk.
